Pets feel the benefit
Date published: 09 March 2009
DOGS and moggies across the borough are in rude health, thanks to health checks offered by the RSPCA.
Pet owners visited the mobile health check van outside the RSPCA’s Oldham branch in Rhodes Bank where their pets could have a health check, get microchipped and get treatment for fleas and worms.
The service is available to people on benefits and costs £10. For a further £5, pets can be vaccinated.
Anyone on benefits who missed out, will be able to take advantage of the service at the Oldham Town Football Club in Oakbank Road, Limeside between 8.30am and 1pm on April 1 and the service will be offered again at Rhodes Bank on May 27.
