Invincibles seek kit deal
Date published: 11 March 2009
AN all-conquering local football club is appealing for kit sponsors as it looks ahead to next season — fresh from lifting the Greater Manchester Under-14s League crown.
The Oldham Under-14s Town Team is made up of boys with moderate learning difficulties.
Under the guidance of Paul Ogden, a PE teacher at Failsworth Sports College, and his assistants Pete Wild and Lee Ashworth, the team finished its eight-game season unbeaten.
The lads clinched the championship courtesy of a 2-2 draw with Bury on the final day of the campaign.
Anyone interested in sponsorship should call Oldham Schools competition manager Steve Tyrell on 0161-770 3677.
