AN Air Cadet Squadron is flying high following its annual inspection.

The 2200 (Oldham) Squadron Air Training Corps was inspected by Wing Commander Steve Molloy, the officer commanding East Lancashire Wing.

The inspector spoke to each cadet and commented on their high standard of dress and deportment.

He was impressed by the standard of training.

He remarked on the remarkable growth of the squadron during the past year.

He told cadets: “You are a young squadron, but you are benefiting from good training offered by new staff and experienced cadets.”

Officer commanding the squadron, Flt Lt Mike Holroyd said: “The annual inspection is always a nerve-racking time, but we could not have wished for a better result. I am so proud of the cadets.”
