Ride safety probe

THE Health and Safety Executive wants to hear from witnesses and people who were on a fairground ride in Hollinwood when the safety bar failed.
As reported in the Chronicle, several thrillseekers were injured during the incident on the Miami Trip ride at the Blackpool Comes to Oldham fun fair on February 17. An investigation is under way. Contact officers on 0161- 952 8200.
