CAR wash . . . actors Jack Deam, Kelvin Fletcher and rugby star Kyle Eastmond get stuck in
TWO TV stars and a rugby player gave Oldham firefighters a helping hand during a charity car wash.
Royton actor Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden in “Emmerdale”, Jack Deam, who has appeared in “Unforgiven”, “The Bill”, and “Shameless”, and St Helen’s rugby star Kyle Eastmond got stuck in at Oldham Fire Station in Lees Road.
They helped to raise £1,800 for the Firefighters Charity, which helps injured officers and their families. Oldham firefighter Mark Beswick (48), said: “We must have washed between 400 to 500 cars on the day. As well as celebrities, officers from other stations came to help.”
