Mission’s reunion

OLDHAM Town Mission is celebrating 150 years of Christian work this year.

Anyone who attended Mount Pleasant Mission, Lees Road, Clarksfield, or the former Grosvenor Hall Mission, Ward Street, Oldham, is invited to a reunion at the end of May.

The mission has spent decades looking after the poor and holding prayers and bible studies at the two venues.

The reunion is being held at Mount Pleasant on Saturday, May 30 at 2.30pm, and again the following day at 11am.
