MAGNIFICO, fantastique! That’s the reaction of pupils who took part in a modern foreign language week.
The youngsters at St Hilda’s CE Primary, Oldham, have been learning salsa dancing, taking part in fun French activities and enjoying tapas at a local restaurant.
Lancaster University’s international officer Adrian Thomas also visited, along with Japanese PhD student Chihiro Inoue, to teach the pupils Japanese greetings and calligraphy.
They then got to dress up in Yukata, traditional Japanese gowns.
