Youngsters from Medlock Valley Community School were given the chance to hold consultations on a £3 million programme aimed at residents of Fitton Hill. Housing association Villages, which manages the 1,400 homes, will begin an environmental improvement programme targeting various areas of the estate.
The youngsters have been working on a community involvement project and this week the ‘tenants of the future’ took part in their own consultation with area manager Bernie McConnell and senior surveyor Stephen Jackson.
