A parade of shops in Thornham is celebrating coming in from the cold after seven months of roadworks, by holding a fun day.
Trade at Natural Fleur florists, Bliss beauty salon, Gary Peters hairdressers and the Fine Wines At Your Convenience store in Rochdale Road has taken a battering after roadworks made access difficult.
But now the roadworks have finally finished, the shops will celebrate by opening on Sunday and filling the pavement in front of their businesses with face painting stalls, food stalls and raffles.
All the money raised from the stalls will be donated to Thornham St James School and Thornham St James Church.
The fun kicks off at 11am and is likely to continue until around 4pm.
