Charity runners set for Manchester 10k

First-timers Suzy Leech and Kath Cuff will partner veteran John O’Hare and enthusiast Martyn Mulligan in the Manchester 10k run in May.
The four, all employees of Chadderton-based Cameron Chase, hope to rake in £1,000 for charity with their efforts.
And they have been training together to make sure they make it over the finishing line as a team.
The run is on Sunday, May 17, and the four have already secured promises of money from their colleagues at the financial planners and tax consultancy company if they complete the course.
They are raising money for Link4Pink, which will add a conservatory to Oldham’s cramped Victoria Breast-Care Unit.
“The girls have promised to keep up - or rather asked us to keep down with them,” laughed John. “They have been doing lots of training so I am sure they will make it.”
The four picked Link4Pink as their charity because, said John: “I have had experience of cancer, my mum died of it and my cousin, who is 40, is currently being treated for breast cancer.
“We wanted a local charity and we all thought Link4Pink was worthwhile.”
