GENEROUS staff at the Royal Oldham Hospital’s pathology lab were pretty in pink yesterday in a bid to raise funds for the Christie Hospital.
Some 400 staff took part in the fundraiser where employees wore something pink and held a raffle.
More than £200 has been raised so far for the pioneering cancer centre in Manchester, but there’s still more to come with a fun day and pub crawl to swell charity coffers in May.
Katie Bayliss (23), a biomedical support worker at the Royal Oldham, helped organise the event.
She said: “We are now looking to the Fun Day at the Duke of York pub in Shaw on May 3.”
