Medic’s kill threat

A PARAMEDIC accused of making threats to kill two police officers has avoided jail.
Michael McMonagle (46), of Broadbent Close, Royton, was given a nine month prison sentence, suspended for two years, at Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court after admitting affray.
The case related to an incident on December 3 last year when Mr McMonagle made the threats to an inspector and a PC at his home address, which they took seriously.
