Young actors shine at auditions
TALENTED young actors, singers and dancers took to the stage to impress judges at Oldham Theatre Workshop.
More than 150 acting wannabes auditioned for two big summer shows at The Museum on Greaves Street.
The youth theatre organisation is looking for talented actors and singers, aged 13-25 for the production of “Don’t Turn My Life Into A Musical . . . The Musical” which opens at the Oldham Coliseum on July 23.
Auditions are also taking place for “Pinocchio”. Eight to 12-year-olds are wanted for the production which will be staged at The Museum on June 26 and 27.
Artistic director James Atherton said: “More people than ever before auditioned which was fantastic.
“Everybody enjoyed themselves which was the most important thing.”
