All the fun of the fair

FAMILIES flocked to Daisy Nook Country Park for some sunny Easter fun at the weekend.
Young and old alike enjoyed thrilling rides including the Rock ’n’ Roll Express, Mexican Wave and the Sizzler. The traditional event also gave youngsters a chance to test their aim at knock-out stalls for prizes.
Food stalls offered hamburgers, hot dogs, candyfloss and ice-cream.
MEANWHILE in Saddleworth’s villages, Saddleworth Morris Men danced their way through the streets to mark Good Friday.
With bells on their feet, brightly-coloured waistcoats and floral hats, the Saddleworth Morris Men certainly made an impact as they danced through Delph, Dobcross, Diggle and Uppermill.
