A KNIGHT’S tale . . . Dr Alan Nye with Brian Hurst (left) from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice
A GLODWICK GP is hoping to be a knight in shining armour when he competes in the London Marathon for the fourth time.
Dr Alan Nye, a GP at Hopwood House surgery, will tackle the 26-mile race on April 26 in aid of Dr Kershaw’s Hospice in Royton.
Dr Nye, a keen member of Saddleworth Runners, hopes to top the £1,200 he raised last year.
Anyone wishing to sponsor Dr Nye can pick up a sponsor form at Hopwood House surgery, Lees Road, Glodwick.
