CHADDERTON dancers helped launch the first family dance exhibition at The Lowry theatre in Salford.
The talented teens showed off their skills at the launch of the interactive exhibition Express Yourself.
From ballet to break dancing, it takes youngsters and families on an enjoyable journey through the world of dance.
The Lowry teamed up with the Carrie Hanson School of Dance to perform all types of dance from ballet, tap and hip hop to salsa and the can-can.
Helena Ferreira (14), Louie Ferreira (13), Natalie Moloney (15) and Laura Hewitt (15), from Chadderton, took part in the show-stopping number, all choreographed to Madonna’s hit song “Express Yourself”.
Open to the public until September 27, the exhibition encourages visitors to express themselves through dance.
Michael Simpson, head of galleries at The Lowry, said: “The exhibition aims to show how everyone can dance, irrelevant of age, shape, size or culture.
“It will give everyone the chance to see how dancing can be simple, easy and lots of fun.”
