THE body which runs Oldham’s mental health services has been named as one of the nation’s top 100 healthcare employers.
Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is the only mental health trust in the North-West to feature in the “Healthcare 100” list.
The list was drawn up by the Health Services Journal and the Nursing Times, and compiled from responses from staff surveys carried out by MORI.
The survey looked at how employers listen to and respond to staff, and Catherine Youds, people and development director for Pennine Care said: “We are really pleased and proud to have received this accolade and acknowledgement, particularly because the survey was completed by our staff.”
The trust, which was rated in the list at number 63, was also commended for its flexible working opportunities and carers leave policies.
