Precarious perch: The thrush's nest in the limelight
THIS thrush is clearly no bird brain when it comes to building a nest — in fact it made light work of the job.
It was spotted by an eagle-eyed reader when it set up home in the fast lane — on a set of traffic lights at a busy junction.
Evening Chronicle photographer Darren Robinson snapped the bird building its nest after it swopped its more familiar parklife for the bright lights of Royton.
