SHOPPERS at Oldham’s HMV store were treated to an exclusive performance from indie band Twisted Wheel.
The Saddleworth trio performed tracks from their self-titled debut album before meeting fans and signing autographs.
The Saddleworth band — Jonny Brown (guitar and vocals), Richard Lees (bass) and Adam Clarker (drums) — was invited to take part in HMV’s My Inspiration campaign.
The campaign asks singers and songwriters to choose their most inspirational lyric of all time.
Twisted Wheel chose The Zombies 1964 track “She’s Not There” and have become the first group to record a version of their chosen song.
Other artists that have taken part in the HMV My Inspiration campaign include Morrissey, Paul McCartney, Take That and Duffy.
