Date published: 21 April 2009
A HOARD of suspected cannabis plants were found when police went to a Todmorden house to investigate reports of a stolen digger.
The digger had been stolen in Oldham and a tracker device fitted to the machine led police to Pear Place, Cornholme. Officers found several more vehicles, believed to have been stolen, and a cannabis factory. The vehicles and about 100 suspected cannabis plants were seized by police.
The plants have been sent for forensic analysis and inquiries are ongoing.
