Charity call for Lions fun day
Date published: 22 April 2009
Oldham Lions Club is holding its annual family fun day at Royton Park next month, and looking for stallholders to raise money for their chosen charity.
The fun day is on May 10, and invitations have gone out to 60 local charities and associations, but there is still time to book a space.
Stalls are £5 each, and information stalls can be put up for free.
The arena is also available for groups and organisations, local dance troupes, judo and karate displays, children’s football or rugby teams and brass bands.
The free event at the Radcliffe Street park starts at 11am and runs until 4pm.
There will be fairground rides, a fire service display and a Wild West show.
Anyone who wants to take a stall or stage a display should call 0161-652 7950 or 07968 631979
