Attempted murder

A MAN has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Oldham.
Thirty-three-year-old Mohammed Saghir, of Chesham Road, Clarksfield, appeared at Oldham Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear at Manchester Crown Court on May 19.
Police were called to a house in Chesham Road at 9pm on Sunday and found a 54-year-old man with stab wounds. He is in a critical condition in hospital.
