Help for disabled children
Date published: 27 April 2009
FAMILIES can get involved in developing a short break service for disabled children — and try their hand at a range of activities at the same time.
Aiming High in Oldham will be launched on May 27 at the sports centre at Radclyffe School, Chadderton, as part of the Government’s programme to improve services for disabled children.
The event runs from 10am to 4pm and will include fun activities for disabled youngsters such as trampolining, a climbing wall, adapted bikes and arts and crafts.
Information will also be available from a range of organisations.
