A MAGIC mum will play Fairy godmother as part of a nationwide marketing campaign for fabric softener.

Samantha Knox (34) is one of six women across the country to feature in the firm’s “Celebrating Our Little Ones” drive.

For the second year running, Fairy has teamed up with real mums — the Fairy Godmothers — who provide insights into their special moments with their young ones.

Former “Coronation Street” actress Tina O'Brien, who played gym-slip mum Sarah-Louise Platt, is fronting the nationwide campaign for Fairy Non-bio Gel with her five-month-old daughter Scarlett.

Samantha’s feature explores her unique bond with her one-year-old son Nicholas.

Samantha, of Whitegate Road, Chadderton, will star in the May issues of Prima Baby and Pregnancy, Mother and Baby, Pregnancy and Birth and Practical Parenting magazines.

She said: “I am so excited — it was great fun last year.

“As a new mum, I know how the first year of your little one’s life can be full of celebratory moments which is why I think it’s great that all parents alike are being encouraged to celebrate their little one.

“No matter whether it’s the first time they’ve crawled or even the 10th time they’ve smiled, it’s important to show them how special they are to you.

“I love taking time out to celebrate every moment with Nicholas and I feel honoured to be able to share these moments with other mums.”
