Three hurt in club violence

POLICE were today continuing to investigate three assaults in Oldham town centre on Saturday.
Officers were called to The Tokyo Project nightclub, Roscoe Street, at 2am following reports a man had been hit with a glass. An 18-year-old with cuts to his face was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital and later transferred to North Manchester General Hospital for treatment. Thirty-five minutes later, officers attended Vogue nightclub, Yorkshire Street, following reports of a disturbance and discovered a fight taking place. A 35-year-old man and a 20-year-old man had been hit on the head but neither required treatment.
