Oscar — broken hearted family want him back
THE owner of this cute bearded collie has offered a cash reward after he went missing nearly two weeks ago.
Beverley Sharples, of Castleton, Rochdale, said she was walking 10-month-old Oscar along the Rochdale Canal on April 17 when he was spooked by fireworks and ran off. He hasn’t been seen since.
She said: “Oscar shot off across some fields.
“We have been looking everywhere. We’ve been out every night putting up posters.”
Oscar may have been spotted in Tandle Hills, taken by a woman who had two other collie-type dogs in her car.
Beverley added: “We received a call on Sunday from someone who had seen a woman putting a lead on a dog like Oscar. He has a lovely temperament and even though my children are 16 and 21, they are still fretting.
“We have had him since he was a little puppy.”
Oscar is grey and white and has been micro-chipped. His name and Beverley’s telephone number were on his collar when he went missing.
Anyone with information should contact Beverley on 01706-632 301.
