OLDHAM Athletic and its fans have given the Royal Oldham Hospital’s Link4Pink Appeal a massive shot in the arm.
Appeal organisers last night received a cheque for £20,000 from the club at its awards dinner at Smokies Park Hotel. The money for the Victoria Breast Unit was raised from a series of events the most high profile being the pink kit which was worn for the live televised game against Leeds United.
There were also contributions from the club and from an FA fund.
