FAILSWORTH Sports College has been on a mission to help develop sports leaders of the future.
The college hosted a Greater Manchester Top Link Conference — a sports leadership programme which targets youngsters.
All schools in Greater Manchester including Radclyffe, Chadderton; Hathershaw College of Technology and Sport; and St Augustine, Werneth; were invited along.
Vicky Dean, partnership development manager at Failsworth School, said: “The pupils played some sport but it was more about leadership and planning events so that when they return to their schools they can put into action what they learned.”
Sports leaders from Oldham Sixth Form College and Manchester Metropolitan University taught the class.
