Three men bailed after drugs haul

POLICE arrested three men after finding cannabis in a car suspected of being used in the sale of drugs in Crompton.
Officers stopped a white Audi A3 in Rochdale Road and searched the vehicle and all three passengers at 8pm on Friday, April 24.
Two men, both aged 21, and a 22-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of possessing cannabis with intent to supply and theft. They have been bailed until May 16 pending further inquiries.
PC Adam Murphy, community beat manager for Shaw, said: “This is an excellent example of police and the local community working hard together to achieve the same result, safer communities.
“I would urge anyone who has any information about crime in their area to contact the Neighbourhood Policing Team at Royton police station.”
