STAFF from Co-operative Travel hit the bowling lanes to raise more than £500 for charity at a huge bowling event.

More than 50 travel advisers, including Oldham branch manager Keeley Johnson, took part in a bowl-athon at Hollywood Bowl in Ashton.

The event raised money for The Co-operative’s charity of the year, RNID which supports the deaf or hard of hearing.

With help from its members and customers, The Co-operative hopes to raise more than £2 million by the end of the year for the special cause.
