THE former treasurer of Waterhead Rugby Club has been charged with eight offences, including fraud.
Tim Kinder will appear before Oldham Magistrates’ Court on May 29 after being charged when he answered bail yesterday.
The long-running case dates back to September, 2007, when he resigned from the Peach Road Club after a £30,000 gap was found in the club accounts. He was arrested a month later.
The charges include fraud, theft and three charges of false accounting.
Mr Kinder has been granted bail until his court appearance.
