Jenni goes for gold

A FORMER sixth-form pupil at Blue Coat School travelled to London to receive a Duke of Edinburgh gold award from Prince Philip.
Jennifer Hughes, who is now studying Earth Science with Geography at Lancaster University, enjoyed a day at St James’s Palace before the Duke of Edinburgh handed out the awards.
To achieve the honour, Jenni completed a host of diverse activities over 18 months including voluntary work, field trips and community work.
