Evening out ends up in hospital

A 35-YEAR-OLD man suffered a fractured skull on a night out in Shaw.
Between 11.30pm and 11.45pm on Sunday, the victim was in Coolers Bar, Milnrow Road.
The offender walked up to him at the bar and punched him in the face. He fell, banged his head on a step, and was knocked unconscious.
The offender was described as white, around 5ft 6in tall, of medium build with short black hair and in his late 20s, .
Detective Constable Rick Sample of Oldham CID said: “This completely unprovoked attack left a man hospitalised.
“I am looking to speak to anyone who may have seen this attack or who knows who the offender is.
“Coolers have been helping us as much as they can but we also need the public’s help, so if you have any information please get in touch.”
