OLDHAM businesses can get free advice to help them survive the credit crunch.
They are being urged to register for the workshop ‘Beating the Recession: Real Help for Businesses’ on June 10.
The event at the Mercure Norton Grange Hotel, Castleton, runs from 5.30pm to 9pm and kicks off with a presentation by Paul Stewart from marketing and advertising consultants Profit Masters.
His topics will include getting finances in order, controlling overheads, credit control and service. People will also be able to talk with specialists and meet other local firms.
Oldham Council has teamed up with Rochdale Council and Business Link North-West to run the workshop.
Councillor Mohib Uddin, cabinet member for regeneration, said: “This is the first in a series of events where we have joined forces with local partners to try and help businesses through these testing times.
“Firms will be able to access excellent advice on the night and also get an opportunity to share good practice with other businesses.”
