Knife attack on bus

POLICE have launched an investigation after a brutal knife attack on a bus passenger.
The terrifying incident happened on the lower deck of the 184 service from Piccadilly as the vehicle neared King Street in Oldham.
The 33-year-old victim was confronted by another passenger who stabbed him twice in the leg during a row before getting off the bus at around 9.40pm on Wednesday.
The injured man was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital for treatment. Detectives now want to hear from other passengers who witnessed the attack.
The man they are looking for is described as black, in his early 30s, of average height and with very short hair. He wore a black T-shirt and black jeans.
