Suranne Jones — Christmas at the Royal Exchange
OLDHAM actress Suranne Jones is to make her debut at Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre at Christmas in Noel Coward’s comedy “Blithe Spirit”
Best known for her regular role as Karen McDonald in “Coronation Street”, Suranne has more recently taken on a spate of TV starring roles in “Vincent”, “Strictly Confidential”, “Harley Street”, “Snappers” and “Unforgiven”, in which she played a killer trying to make her way back in society after release from jail.
Her new theatre role couldn’t be more different.
She will play Ruth, the beleagured second wife of leading character Charles Condomine, whose life is blighted by the ghost of his first wife, Elvira.
