CONGRATULATIONS . . . the Salways receive their first bouquet. Pictured (from the left) are Joanne Salway with her daughter, Heather, and husband, Mark, receiving the bouquet from Miller’s driver Gary Matley.
THIS lucky family has won the Evening Chronicle’s fresh flower competition.
Mark Salway (49), of Great Meadow, High Crompton, will get a stunning bouquet of fresh flowers delivered to his door every month for a year after he was picked the winner from over 300 entries.
The competition run by the Chronicle and Miller’s Florist, in Huddersfield Road, Oldham, asked readers: “How many testimonials are on Miller’s website?” The answer was 19, which Mr Salway answered correctly.
His wife Joanne (47), said: “I sent in the answer on a postcard and my husband e-mailed it.
“We were really surprised when we were told we had won. We were delighted to receive our first bouquet. The lilies are absolutely stunning.
