Artists in Royal Academy show
Date published: 15 June 2009
A PAIR of talented Diggle artists have been selected to display their work at London’s Royal Academy of Arts.
The summer exhibition at the Academy, which is based in Burlington House, Piccadilly, is the world’s largest open submission contemporary show with a tradition of showcasing work by unknown and established artists side by side.
The work of Sarah Battle and John Hewitt, both of Harrop Green, will join paintings, prints, photographs, sculptures and architecture from artists around the country at the exhibition which runs until August 16.
