M60 weekend closures

MOTORISTS are advised to avoid the M60 between junctions 19 at Middleton and 23 at Ashton for the next six weekends.

Several lanes will be closed while resurfacing work is carried out and various entry and exit slip roads will also be shut. Work will start on Friday at 9pm and the motorway will be fully reopened by 5am each Monday until July 27. A 40mph speed limit will apply throughout the roadworks.
