Charity concert

SADDLEWORTH Sing for Pleasure choir is joining forces with Oldham Music Centre Youth Brass Band for a fundraising concert.
The event, in aid of the chairman of Saddleworth Parish Council’s charity appeal, takes place at Uppermill Civic Hall on Sunday, from 7.30pm.
The choir, now in its 10th year, will perform a varied programme, including a group of items from the ever popular musical “Les Miserables”.
One of the charities to be supported by the parish council chairman, Councillor Alma McInnes, will be Chernobyl Children Life Line.
