WITH pom-poms at the ready and gleaming smiles all round, youngsters get ready to bring some real American style to the Radclyffe School in the first annual Street Cheer Primary School competition.

All teams took away prizes on the day, but it is next stop Latics for overall winners St Mary’s in Failsworth, who will dance for football fans during a home fixture this coming season and perform at the national schools cheerleading championships at the Manchester Velodrome.
