Fun day for the family

RESIDENTS are invited to a free day of family fun tomorrow.

The Annual Oldham Children and Youth Alliance Fun Day takes place at Alexandra Park from 11am to 4pm, featuring music, games, art and dance.

Alliance Development Officer Laura Windsor said: “The event is all about encouraging young people and families from different communities to come together and have a day of fun.

“There are loads of activities, something for everyone. This year we have teamed up with the Oldham Borough Games, where young people can compete in sports activities in local area teams in tag rugby, football, cricket and tennis.”

It also features face painting, dragon boat racing, arts and crafts activities, go-karts, live music, jungle runs, graffiti art, dance workshops and a youth café.
