A MAN wanted in connection with a vicious “Reservoir Dogs” style attack in West Sussex, where the victim had his ear cut off, could be residing in Oldham.
Police want to speak to Anthony Connolly (pictured), who is from Liverpool and recently lived in the Halewood area but also has links with Oldham, in connection with the serious assault.
In an echo of the violent Quentin Tarantino cult film, a 21-year-old man from Worthing was held down by three men and had his right ear cut off with a knife.
The unprovoked attack happened in Vancouver Road, Worthing, at around 2am on August 5, 2008.
Police have released a photograph of Connolly, who is white, 5ft 7inc tall, of medium build with blue eyes and receding dark brown straight hair.
Det Con Del Thurgood, of Worthing CID, said: “We are keen to speak with Anthony Connolly in connection with this incident and have issued a number of appeals over the past 10 months to establish his whereabouts.
“We are offering a £500 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful conviction of whoever is responsible for the assault.”
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0845-6070999 extension 81137, or alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555111.
