Morrisons raid

A TRIO of machete and hammer-wielding robbers burst into Failsworth’s Morrisons store in broad daylight yesterday.

The gang, who were wearing dark clothes and balaclavas, burst through a door leading to the cash office at around 4.30pm, before a second security door stopped them in their tracks. The group then fled empty handed in a Seat Leon, which was later found abandoned near by.
