Soft-top delight for David
Date published: 01 July 2009
CAR-mad David Priestley is keeping cool in the current sizzling temperatures.
The 49-year-old is making the most of the weather after winning a week’s free motoring in a Saab 9-3 convertible.
The Oldham Evening Chronicle and Pentagon Saab offered visitors to Saddleworth Show the chance to get behind the wheel of the soft-top. The prize includs a full tank of fuel and insurance.
Lucky government employee David, from High Crompton, wasted no time in whisking off partner Sarah Firth for an overnight break at Coombe Abbey, Warwickshire.
“I love my cars so it is an ideal prize. It’s absolutely brilliant and we couldn’t have picked a better week for it,” he said.
