A FORMER Great Britain body building champion paid a visit to Failsworth School to educate young people about the importance of a healthy diet.
Kerry Kayes, who also won the Britain Masters in 1994, gave pupils a talk about sports-related nutrition.
He was invited to the school as part of National School Sports Week. Michael Kelly, the school’s integrated services co-ordinator, said: “The pupils received important advice on nutrition and absolutely loved the whole session.
“A lot of them learnt new things, such as, how a healthy diet can help physically, emotionally and mentally.”
