Race’s record bid
Date published: 03 July 2009
THE head office of Saddleworth nursing agency, Castlerock Care, has signed up to a wacky world record attempt to raise money for breast cancer research.
The company will take part in a derby with a difference at Windsor racecourse tomorrow.
It will feature pantomime horses which will compete in qualifying derbies, dressage competitions and a grand final.
Castlerock Care’s entry will be Rocky, the Italian Stallion. Besides their bid to raise more than £10,000 for the Breast Cancer Campaign, entrants will be attempting to break the Guinness world record for the most entries in a two-person pantomime animal race.
