Playground party

HOW’S about hat! Oldham’s Mayoress helps five-year-old Imran Hussain try on some special headgear at Westwood Primary School.
Councillor Kay Knox joined in the colourful party to celebrate the school’s glowing Ofsted report.
Watchdog inspectors described Westwood as a good school with a number of outstanding features where its children make good progress.
Youngsters dressed up in their best gear for the party and tucked into an alfresco lunch to make the most of the glorious weather.
Reception class pupils known as the Bangla Dancers showed off their traditional moves in the playground where ice-cream and bunting were the order of the day.
