Date published: 07 July 2009
Teachers from Pakistan are sampling school life in Oldham to learn more about the English education system.
Their hosts are staff at Breeze Hill School which has been linked with Pakistan for two years through the Global Schools Partnership, administered by the British Council.
The teachers, from the Islamabad Model College for girls, have been filming lessons, discussing management issues, shadowing staff and meeting students and parents.
They will also visit Gallery Oldham, Tommyfield Market, Saddleworth and Manchester.
In turn, staff from Breeze Hill have paid four visits to Pakistan since 2007.
