Gun raid shop terror

A terrified shop assistant was threatened at gunpoint when a masked raider demanded cash.
The victim was standing behind the counter at the Armadale Mini-market, Dukinfield, when the drama unfolded on Saturday at 8.35am.
After being handed the cash, the robber fled from the Armadale Road store towards Boyds Walk.
The man police are hunting is described as white, around 19-years-old and 5ft 6in tall.
He wore a black hooded jacket with a light blue coloured pattern on the front and back and black tracksuit bottoms. A scarf covered the lower half of his face.
Det Con Darren Byrne said: “The level of intimidation is unacceptable and I am appealing for any witnesses to call me immediately.”
